You got **Sending rate exceeded** or **Daily sending quota reached**. This is the email system’s **account** cap, not your Lumail plan’s monthly limit.

- **Throttling** — too many sends per second. Transient. Slow down; Lumail will retry eligible mail.
- **Daily quota** — the 24-hour send ceiling was hit. Wait for the window to roll, or ask for a higher cap.

## What to change

1. Stop launching another full-list campaign on top of one already draining the quota.
2. Let in-flight retries finish. Don’t hammer “Send” on the same campaign.
3. If this is normal volume for you, email [support@lumail.io](mailto:support@lumail.io) with the org slug and approximate daily volume. We raise the provider cap; you cannot do it in DNS.
4. If you also see **monthly** Lumail limit alerts, that’s a different ceiling — [How to fix a monthly email limit](/docs/deliverability/how-to-fix-monthly-email-limit).
