How Yannis Haismann made email the main channel for LinkHub and LinkPost

Yannis sells LinkedIn growth tools. His biggest channel is not LinkedIn. It is one Lumail account running four products, two languages and dozens of live workflows.

Yannis Haismann sells LinkedIn growth. LinkHub helps freelancers and founders find clients through LinkedIn comments and a CRM that fills itself. LinkPost scores a post's virality before you publish it. LinkMagnet delivers LinkedIn lead magnets on autopilot, and LinkEarn is his LinkedIn course.

You would expect LinkedIn to be his main channel. It is not.

"Lumail made me like email. It turned email from a side thing into the main marketing channel for my Linkhub business."

Borrowed reach versus owned reach

Yannis ships in public. On his site he lists thirteen SaaS launched in five years, what each one earned, and which ones failed. He reports €196,009 generated in total, and €105,000 collected on Stripe between January 1 and August 21, 2026.

His products live on LinkedIn, but LinkedIn decides who sees a post. A launch that depends only on the feed depends on the algorithm that day.

Email is the opposite. The list is his, the send goes to everyone on it, and the timing is his decision. The work was making email run for four products without it becoming a second job.

One list, four products, two languages

Yannis runs everything from a single Lumail organization. Tags do the separating: one per language, one per product, and more for purchases and product milestones.

A contact can be a French LinkPost user who has bought LinkHub and finished the product tour, and every workflow reads those tags to decide what to send and in which language. Both languages live in the same flow instead of being duplicated.

Signups arrive on their own

Yannis does not export or import contacts. His apps create Lumail subscribers through the subscribers API. When someone signs up for one of his products, the contact lands in Lumail tagged with the product, and the matching onboarding workflow starts.

Each product has its own onboarding entry point, and paying customers get a separate post-purchase onboarding.

A tour of every product

Once someone is onboarded on one product, a short series introduces the others. Each part is its own workflow, tracked with tags so nobody gets the same pitch twice.

A LinkPost signup who would never have looked for a LinkedIn CRM hears about LinkHub early, from the founder, in their own language.

Workflows that sell

The next layer reacts to buying signals:

  • Limited-time offers for users who have not upgraded yet.
  • Pricing intent: a flow that starts when someone shows interest in pricing.
  • Churn save: catches customers who leave.
  • An email course that works as a lead magnet.

Workflow emails reach people right after they signed up, paid or left, when the product is on their mind.

A campaign almost every day

On top of the automation, Yannis writes to his list constantly: more than 250 campaigns in under eight months. Many go out in two versions, one French and one English, to the matching tag.

The subjects read like his LinkedIn posts: specific, personal and built around a number. Launches follow the same pattern: an announcement in both languages on launch day, then a second email the next day explaining the headline feature.

Across all campaigns, the average tracked open rate is 40%. Tracked opens include automatic opens from Apple Mail Privacy Protection, so treat this as a trend line rather than a count of human readers.

Keeping the list clean

A list only stays useful if it is pruned. Yannis periodically sends a re-permission email to contacts who stopped engaging, then removes the ones who do not answer instead of letting them drag down deliverability for everyone else.

A smaller list of people who open is worth more than a large one that ignores you.

Claude Code does the heavy lifting

Yannis does not build every workflow and campaign by hand. He uses Lumail's built-in agent and Claude Code, so drafts, segments and workflows are created by asking instead of clicking through forms.

You describe the campaign or the flow, the agent builds it inside Lumail, and you review it before anything is sent. The Claude Code integration gives an agent the same access from the terminal.

What you can copy

You do not need four products to use the same system:

  1. Push signups from your app. Create subscribers through the API with a product tag, then start an onboarding workflow from that tag.
  2. Tag by language on day one. Two tags, FR and EN, let one workflow serve both audiences.
  3. Cross-sell with a series. When onboarding ends, a short tour introduces your other offers.
  4. Add workflows for buying signals. Pricing interest, purchase and churn each deserve their own flow.
  5. Write often, prune often. Frequent campaigns keep the list warm. A re-permission email removes people who no longer want them.
  6. Let an agent do the assembly. Describe what you want, review what it builds, then send.

Yannis built this in eight months while shipping LinkHub V3 and LinkPost V2. You can start with one product and one onboarding workflow. Create your Lumail account and connect your app today.
